GLANCE is a curated collection of artwork by Michael Knapp which began as daily sketches in 2017, but soon turned into an exploration of texture, style and composition over the course of several years in his Sketch Therapy series. Published by the Spanish publisher Ominiky Editions in 2021.

Sketchtravel is a one of a kind book filled with bespoke artwork created by masters within the animation and illustration industries from all over the world - Peter de Séve, Hayao Miyazaki, Carlos Nine, Daisuke Tsutsumi, Enrico Casarosa, Rebecca Dautremer - just to name a few. It was a single book filled with empty pages which were slowly filled as each artist completed their work and passed it on to the next. I have never been so nervous contributing to any project as this one. The genius brainchild of Gerald Guerlais and Dice Tsutsumi.

OUT OF PICTURE - VOLUME 1

A unique collection of illustrated stories created by artists who all met working at Blue Sky Studios. “Out of Picture” is a film term for scenes or designs that have been rejected or cut from a movie. These stories were all created outside of the movie making process and are simply tales and ideas expressed in the medium these artists knew best. Some of the featured artists: Michael Knapp, Dice Tsutsumi, Peter de Séve, Robert Mackenzie, Daniel Muñoz Lopez, and many more. Book design by Michael Knapp. Co-produced by Dice Tsutsumi and Michael Knapp. Beautiful softcover edition with French flaps and sketch gallery published by Random House.

Art of Change

When George Floyd was murdered by police in 2020, the whole world took notice. Art of Change is a collection of artwork by artists from around the world across the animation, illustration, games and comics industries who wanted to use their skills to show solidarity and support Black lives through a book of art and story. Produced by Deb Stone and Dawn Yamazi.
